He received his B.Sc. (cum laude) in psychology, M.Sc. (cum laude) in clinical psychology, Ph.D. (mention of honour for innovative methods, “Minerva prize”) in dynamic and clinical psychology and P.D. in geopolitics and international security at Sapienza University of Rome. His clinical specialisation (D.Psych.) at the Institute of Individual and Group Psychoanalysis of Rome (cum laude). His main research interest focuses on the application of the principles of dynamic systems to psychotherapy. He is an external consultant of the World Food Programme - United Nations. He is one of the founders of the International Research Group on Dynamical Systems Research in Psychotherapy.
